Happy First Day of Summer!
One of our clients received a peppy addition to their porch today. A quick and easy splash of color by Duralee was just what this sitting area needed to spice things up for the start of a new season! The only thing missing is a portable AC unit...

Rockin' Romo
One of our fabric reps popped in the other day to see us, bringing with her some fresh new prints by Romo. These lightweight prints would make great seasonal pillows, but still be durable enough for statement upholstery pieces. Leaving both you and your wallet happy!

Bookcase Accessorizing
The above photos are a great example of the Before, During & After phases of Bookcases we recently completed. The action shot of Angela placing items in the bookcases shows how "hands on" we are in our projects. Each day in the life of an interior designer is so different. Design and the City
Wouldn't you love a headboard in THIS 
...And dining room chairs in THIS?!
Well apparently so did Carrie Bradshaw in the new Sex and the City 2 movie. On screen, Kravet and Lee Jofa co-starred in her & Mr. Big’s fabulously furnished apartment. Things get a little "carried" away, leaving plenty to droll over... especially her closet!
In the bedroom: the headboard fabric is Kravet’s Velvet Gate in Tuxedo, Wallpaper is Cole & Son’s Rococo Stripe by Lee Jofa, and Thomas O’Brien’s Hallings Secretary from Hickory Chair also debuted as a TV cabinet.
In the dining room: the chairs are upholstered in Lee Jofa’s Belgravia in Grey/Black, with the Disk Chandelier from Property and backsplash tile by Heath Ceramics from Ann Sacks.

Before & After Powder Room with Custom Backsplash
The BEFORE/DURING/AFTER of the transformed powder room shows a custom backsplash that was designed from the wallcovering that was selected. You can see what design elements such as pattern, color, texture, and material mixtures can add to create the "wow factor" for any room in the house. The powder room is my favorite room to do something different and unexpected.
